My Story

I remember so clearly launching KV Apothecary in my kitchen in 2014. The excitement, the drive, the knowledge that I was about to embark on a path toward something big, something needed. A lot has happened since then—we’ve grown our offerings, brought our products into some of the PNW’s most amazing local shops and markets, and offered classes to enrich us in body, mind, and spirit. But there is one thing that has stayed the same, and always will—my passion to create natural, practical, and affordable herbal remedies for those who need it.

I lovingly and intentionally harvest and create my products for individuals dealing with common, real life ailments. I work for the sleep-deprived new mother with a teething baby, the runner struggling through heat rash, the menopausal woman waking up with hot flashes, and the couple tending to their fresh tattoos.

I craft products designed to heal, nourish, and soothe your body so it can confidently carry you through to your next adventure, whatever it may be.

Our Practices

KVA ingredients are locally sourced and sustainably harvested right here in the South Puget Sound area. Your product may contain ingredients from the lovingly tended gardens of my own yard, my brother's beautiful land out on Whidbey Island, longtime friends' properties spanning from Rainier Valley to the Key Peninsula, or all of the above. When local ingredients aren’t readily available, I rely on trusted and organically certified growers.

I infuse the oils with herbs, blend them with a variety of natural components, and then carefully pour, label, and package each product by hand.

Our products are always free of fillers, parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, dyes, and artificial fragrances, and never tested on animals. When you use a KVA product, you’re protecting and restoring your body with the very best our earth has to offer. We’ve made sure of it.
